The SPPHAV offers documentation and registration of purebred Standardbred horses that are not going to be freeze branded for harness racing purposes. Proof of purebred sire and dam details are required. Without this registration, non-freeze branded Standardbred horses cannot compete in breed competition or as a Standardbred in open competition.

The SPPHAV also offers documentation and registration of part bred Standardbred horses - must have  minimum 25% Standardbred bloodlines. Proof of all bloodlines required. Without this registration, part bred Standardbred horses cannot compete in breed competition as a part bred Standardbred.
